Environmental Policy
First endorsed by the Board of Directors 21st June 1997 and last reviewed and approved by the Board 1st May 2009
Cleenol Group Ltd cares about the environment in all its forms, and recognises that concern for the environment should be an integral and fundamental part of the business. Cleenol is committed to achieving environmental best practice throughout its activities and to constantly work towards minimising the impact of its products and services upon the environment. To that end Cleenol:
- Meets and where appropriate exceeds the requirements of all relevant legislation
- Incorporates consideration of environmental factors into business decisions
- Assesses the environmental impact of individual products and services
- Seeks to reduce consumption and wastage of materials in all operations
- Reuses rather than dispose of whenever possible
- Recycles and encourage the use of recycling and recycled products
- Manages energy wisely in all operations and design energy efficiency into buildings, products and services
- Reduces wherever practicable the level of harmful emissions and waste products
- Works with our suppliers to minimise the environmental impact of their operations through a quality purchasing policy
- Maintains an open information policy on environmental issues to any interested party
- Provides staff with environmental awareness training and encourage employee initiatives that contribute to an improved environment
- Allocates appropriate resources to ensure the environmental policy is fully implemented
- Takes all measures necessary to prevent pollution
- Keeps noise emissions to a minimum
- Keeps the environmental policy under regular review
- Is committed to continual improvement
